Welcome to PartnerCheck. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of this website and any enquiry, consultation, investigation support, or related service provided through PartnerCheck.
PartnerCheck is operated by Everguard Group Pty Ltd.
By using this website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a consultation, or engaging PartnerCheck for services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About PartnerCheck
PartnerCheck provides discreet, lawful and evidence-led investigation support for sensitive personal matters, including relationship concerns, infidelity concerns, dating partner checks, online dating due diligence, child custody and parenting matter concerns, background checks, people search enquiries, and related factual investigation services.
All services are subject to lawful instructions, matter suitability, safety considerations, licensing requirements, operational capability, payment approval where applicable, and acceptance by PartnerCheck.
PartnerCheck may refuse, pause, or discontinue any enquiry or matter that is unlawful, unsafe, unsuitable, unethical, or outside our operational capability.
2. No Legal Advice
PartnerCheck does not provide legal advice. Information on this website is general in nature and should not be relied on as legal advice, family law advice, evidence advice, court advice, or advice about your rights or obligations.
You should seek advice from a qualified solicitor or the relevant authority before making legal, family law, court, financial, employment, or personal safety decisions.
Where a matter involves court proceedings, family law, parenting arrangements, intervention orders, protection orders, document service, or evidence for legal use, you are responsible for confirming requirements with your solicitor or the relevant court before instructing PartnerCheck.
3. No Guaranteed Outcome
PartnerCheck does not guarantee a particular finding, proof of infidelity, proof of misconduct, a successful locate result, that a person will be found, that information will be available, that surveillance will obtain useful observations, or that any report will be accepted by a court, insurer, solicitor, government agency, employer, or third party.
Investigation work is factual and evidence-led. Results depend on available information, lawful access to information, subject behaviour, location, timing, third-party cooperation, and other factors outside PartnerCheck’s control.
4. Lawful Instructions Only
PartnerCheck only accepts lawful instructions. We do not accept requests involving unlawful access, harassment, intimidation, impersonation, unsafe conduct, or misuse of personal information.
You must not ask PartnerCheck to:
- hack phones, devices, emails, cloud accounts, or social media accounts;
- access private messages or private accounts without lawful authority;
- impersonate another person;
- unlawfully track a person, vehicle, phone, or device;
- install spyware, hidden tracking tools, or unlawful recording devices;
- harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or confront any person;
- trespass on private property;
- breach a court order, intervention order, protection order, parenting order, or legal restriction;
- place a child or vulnerable person at risk; or
- use PartnerCheck’s services for revenge, coercive control, harassment, intimidation, or unsafe contact.
If you provide unlawful, unsafe, misleading, or improper instructions, PartnerCheck may decline or terminate the matter immediately.
5. Suitability Assessment
Submitting an enquiry does not mean PartnerCheck has accepted your matter. Before any investigation pathway is recommended, PartnerCheck may assess your identity, authority to request the service, purpose of the enquiry, lawful basis for the requested work, safety risks, privacy considerations, operational feasibility, reporting requirements, and overall matter suitability.
PartnerCheck is not required to accept any enquiry or provide reasons for declining a matter.
6. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete and lawful information. You must not provide information that is false, misleading, unlawfully obtained, or intended to cause harm to another person.
You are responsible for ensuring your instructions are lawful, confirming legal or court requirements with your solicitor or relevant authority, advising PartnerCheck of safety risks or legal restrictions, using any report or information lawfully, and paying agreed fees and costs.
7. Investigation Services
Depending on the matter, PartnerCheck services may include confidential intake, suitability and scope assessment, factual enquiries, lawful open-source research, background and identity-related checks where lawful, dating partner safety checks, online dating due diligence, people search and locate support, family law document service support where suitable, lawful observations or surveillance where appropriate, factual reporting, and matter updates.
PartnerCheck may change the recommended investigation pathway if new information, safety concerns, legal concerns, or operational issues arise.
8. Child Custody and Parenting Matter Enquiries
PartnerCheck may assist with factual enquiries relating to child welfare concerns, parenting arrangement concerns, supervision concerns, care environment concerns, and related parenting matters where lawful and suitable.
PartnerCheck does not provide family law advice, guarantee court acceptance of evidence, encourage confrontation between parents, accept instructions intended to intimidate or harass another parent, accept instructions that may place a child at risk, or act contrary to court orders or legal restrictions.
9. People Search and Document Service Support
PartnerCheck may assist with people search and locate enquiries for legitimate purposes, including family, legal, witness, financial, reconnecting, or document service-related reasons.
PartnerCheck may refuse any locate request where the purpose appears unsafe, unlawful, threatening, harassing, coercive, or improper.
Where document service support is requested, including family law or divorce-related documents, the client is responsible for confirming service requirements with their solicitor or the relevant court.
PartnerCheck does not guarantee that a person will be located, that documents will be served, or that any service attempt will be accepted by a court.
10. Fees, Quotes and Payment
Fees depend on the matter type, location, urgency, time required, investigator requirements, research requirements, reporting requirements, travel, risk and safety considerations.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all fees must be approved before work begins, upfront payment or deposit may be required, work may be paused if payment is not received, and third-party costs, travel, database costs, disbursements, and additional reporting may be charged separately where approved.
Quotes are valid only for the period stated in the quote. If no period is stated, the quote may be withdrawn or revised at PartnerCheck’s discretion.
11. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation terms may depend on the stage of the matter. PartnerCheck may charge for intake and assessment work already completed, preparation and planning, investigator allocation, travel or attendance already arranged, database or third-party costs already incurred, report preparation, work completed before cancellation, and non-refundable supplier or operational costs.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
12. Reports and Deliverables
Where reporting is included, PartnerCheck may provide factual updates, written summaries, investigation notes, photographs, observations, or a formal factual report, depending on the agreed scope.
Reports are prepared based on information available at the time. PartnerCheck does not guarantee that a report will prove a specific allegation, satisfy a third party, be accepted by a court or tribunal, or produce a specific legal or personal outcome.
You must not alter a PartnerCheck report in a way that is misleading, inaccurate, or deceptive.
13. Confidentiality
PartnerCheck treats enquiries and matters confidentially. However, confidentiality may be subject to legal obligations, safety concerns, court orders, law enforcement requests, mandatory reporting obligations, risk of harm to a person, child safety concerns, debt recovery, professional advice, or operational requirements necessary to perform the service.
You must also keep PartnerCheck communications, reports, methods, pricing, investigator details, and operational information confidential unless PartnerCheck agrees otherwise in writing or disclosure is required by law.
14. Privacy and Personal Information
PartnerCheck may collect personal information through website enquiries, phone calls, emails, forms, consultations, service instructions, payment processes, and investigation work.
Personal information may include names, contact details, matter details, location details, relationship information, background information, documents, images, communications, and other information relevant to an enquiry or service.
PartnerCheck handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
15. Website Information
The information on this website is provided for general information only. While PartnerCheck aims to keep website information accurate and current, we do not guarantee that all content is complete, current, or suitable for your specific circumstances.
Website content may be changed, removed, or updated at any time without notice.
16. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, text, graphics, logos, images, designs, documents, reports, templates, and other materials are owned by or licensed to PartnerCheck or Everguard Group Pty Ltd unless otherwise stated.

This website may include links to third-party websites, platforms, tools, payment providers, booking systems, or external resources. PartnerCheck is not responsible for third-party websites, content, privacy practices, availability, accuracy, or security.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PartnerCheck and Everguard Group Pty Ltd are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, punitive, or economic loss arising from your use of the website, your use of services, or your reliance on information provided.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
19. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify PartnerCheck and Everguard Group Pty Ltd against loss, damage, liability, cost, claim, or expense arising from unlawful, unsafe, false, or misleading instructions, information you provide, misuse of any report or information, breach of these Terms, breach of law, breach of a court order, breach of privacy obligations, or any claim made by another person arising from your instructions or use of PartnerCheck services.
20. Refusal or Termination of Service
PartnerCheck may refuse, suspend, or terminate services where instructions are unlawful, unsafe, unethical, or unsuitable, safety risks arise, the client provides false or misleading information, payment is not made, legal concerns arise, or PartnerCheck reasonably considers termination appropriate.
Fees may still be payable for work completed and costs incurred before termination.
21. Force Majeure and Operational Delays
PartnerCheck is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including weather, illness, traffic, travel disruption, third-party delays, technology failure, platform outages, safety risks, legal restrictions, emergency events, or changes in subject behaviour.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Where permitted by law, disputes are subject to the courts and tribunals of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia.
23. Changes to These Terms
PartnerCheck may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
Your continued use of the website or services after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.
