What does a private investigator surveillance package include?
A surveillance booking should define observation time, location, travel, reporting and the approval process for extra work. Here is what to confirm before paying PartnerCheck.

Before you proceed
- Confirm observation time, travel and reporting.
- Ask how unavailable subjects or inconclusive observations are reported.
- Approve extra work before it begins.
What is included in a surveillance booking?
The written scope defines the agreed observation period, location, investigator allocation, reporting and any included photographs or footage where lawfully obtained and practicable. Preparation, travel and external costs should be clear before payment. A booking pays for the agreed work. It does not promise that a person will be observed or that infidelity will be established.
How much does PartnerCheck charge?
PartnerCheck’s hourly rate is $120 plus GST, or $132 including GST. The pricing page sets out current package inclusions and starting prices. The hourly rate alone is not a complete quote. We confirm a location-specific total, including the agreed travel and reporting basis, before requesting payment. Additional work needs approval.
Where can fieldwork be arranged?
PartnerCheck is licensed to provide investigation services across Australia. We assess surveillance enquiries nationally, including Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Tell us the relevant area and timing. Availability and feasibility must be confirmed before a booking is accepted. Desktop enquiries can be assessed Australia-wide.
What information should I provide?
Begin with the factual question, the general location, relevant timing and safe contact preferences. Distinguish what you observed from what you suspect. If the matter is suitable, we request necessary identifiers and existing documents through the client portal. Do not send passwords or obtain material through unauthorised account access or tracking.
What if no relevant activity is observed?
The report explains the work completed, relevant observations and limitations. No relevant observation during the agreed period does not prove that an event never occurs. We discuss the purpose and cost of any proposed further work before proceeding. Cancellation and unused time are assessed against the agreed terms and applicable rights, rather than a promised finding.
How do the brief and payment work?
Start with a confidential enquiry. For a suitable matter, a portal invitation lets you provide the requested brief and documents. We assess the brief and confirm the proposed scope and price. You can then review the payment request in your portal before deciding to proceed. The portal also supports assignment updates and requests for further information.
